no only makes me proud wearing a unique piece that has been made with love and that is just for my ,but that i have helped a person to live a life of creation and creativity.
I'm originally from Argentina and when i was young my mother use to take me to a lot of different craft shop almost every week, thats how early in my life i fell in love with the variety and uniqueness of hand craft jewelry design, and later with a combination of a love for art , travel, interacting with different cultures, and an artist gene in my blood coming from generations i became a jeweler artisan myself.
all around the world i've seen women wearing all kind of jewelry, wering jewelry is an opportunity to complement your personality, an accessory thats makes yourself shine and been seen. and i've seen women wearing repetitive jewelry that you can get on the closest store for a reasonable price, but are you reflecting your self wearing ?it or you are just copying other women and letting your self been drop on the hole of industry and what big companies want you to wear? imagine that those pieces that you just bought have been made in a huge factory, probably on china, and there is thousands or even millons exactly the same, because a machine made it.
and if instead you decide to buy hand made jewelry you can find that beautiful piece, maybe for a higher price, yes, but you can chose that one that really reflects your own personalty and that is really unique, just for you, and you wold know that your making an artist prod of it work, and giving another day to artisans the opportunity to create wearable art and do what they love.
